PADRE CANYON

Behind beautiful Tuacahn Ampitheater is a hidden gem.  A red rock canyon with high walls and beautiful desert foliage.  Keep an eye out for the slot climb and look up to see many pillars and a couple of arches.

This hike is on trail.  It does get a bit steep climbing up then back down the saddle but nothing technical.  You can choose to go just to the saddle and turn back or do this as a loop hike.  To the saddle and back is just over 3 miles and the loop is just under 7.  This in an intermediate hike.
